Focus
JSEP (Journal of Social and Agricultural Economics) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of agricultural economics, agribusiness, and rural socio-economic studies. JSEP focuses on issues that are particularly relevant to developing countries, emphasizing the interconnections between economic efficiency, social equity, and institutional sustainability within agricultural and rural development contexts. The journal encourages research that integrates local resources, regional uniqueness, and indigenous knowledge while applying robust theoretical frameworks and empirical methodologies.
The journal welcomes studies that examine the interactions among actors, markets, policies, and institutions across agricultural and food systems at micro, meso, and macro levels.
